Dedication

To my family members, friends and my future wife ( Yet who I have no idea who is she at the moment)

Introduction

Love. What is love? Well, every individual has their own definition of the word Love. Yet we can know the general meaning of love from many other resources. For example bible tells us that “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”, and many other resources. Love is shapeless, it can be presented in many kind of forms.

Today, we will look at love from a very different view, from the perspective of Economics and Marketing. But at first, we need to know what is the meaning of Economics and Marketing.” Economic is concerned with the efficient use of limited productive resources for the purpose of attaining the maximum possible satisfaction of our material wants.” So in other words, Economic is using limited things that we can find or get around us and then from those we produce something that we want without wasting. You might ask “ So? What is this going to do or link to love anyways?” Well, let me answer this. We are humane beings. Our love are so much limited. We cant love and accept everybody. Ever experience when you encounter someone, you just feel like you dislike that person out of nowhere? Yeah, its because our love are limited. So further deep inside the chapters we will introduce and explore the implication of some of the fundamentals of economics into love.

Next, we are going to talk about marketing. What is marketing? “Marketing is an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders” WoW !!! Sounds complicated....Haha…Well, to simplify it is to say, marketing is to know what people need and satisfy their needs through creating and exchanging value that we ourselves get benefits in the process. Again, why this is going to do or link with love. Well, everybody need love, I mean every single living thing on earth needs love. Human beings need love. No matter how much love we receive we still need love. In our daily basis, we exchange love with one another. We treat other people nicely, we smile to someone, we kiss someone, we hug someone, we being polite to someone, etc, why? It is because we love them or we expect love from them. True? So in order words, we are the marketers and also we are the consumers. We trade love in our daily basis.
